I am proud to announce that we did a little better in 2009 supporting "The Wounded Warrior Project" (WWP). In 2008 (our first year) we made a donation of $1,000 to the WWP. For the year 2009 we raised......$5,000.

Thanks to all members of the Legion Family as well as our benefactors who assisted us with our efforts.

We locked in two dates for this summer. Further details will follow:

ALL MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE AND ATTEND. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RIDER TO ATTEND THESE FUNCTIONS. COME AND ENJOY THE GOOD FOOD AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR WOUNDED VETERANS.

American Legion Riders Post 291

 

We started a Chapter of American Legion Riders at Post 291 and are looking to fill our ranks..

If you are a member of the Legion family in good standing (or eligible for membership), and own a motorcycle 500cc or larger you may join the American Legion Riders.

We recognize and give membership credit for those individuals belonging to another Chapter. Transfer your membership to our Chapter and maintain your ALR longevity. Please send me an email or contact the Post @ 966-8278.

If you belong to another Legion Post that does not have an ALR Chapter you may remain a member of your parent Post and be a member of our ALR Chapter.
